author: Elitsa Mineva
Barbecue or barbeque is a method and apparatus for cooking meat with the heat and hot smoke of a fire, smoking wood, or hot coals of charcoal, cooking gas, or even electricity; and may include application of a marinade, spice rub, or basting sauce to the meat or vegetables. The term as a noun can refer to the meat, the cooking apparatus itself (the "barbecue grill"), or to a party that includes such food. The term as an adjective can refer to foods cooked by this method. The term is also used as a verb for the act of cooking food in this manner. Barbecue is usually cooked in an outdoor environment heated by the smoke of wood or charcoal. Restaurant barbecue may be cooked in large brick or metal ovens specially designed for that purpose.

It so happened that my most intensive practice coincided with the period of initial fund rasing, the reconstructions and in that regard – the building of residential buidings on non-housed landscapes for good or bad purposes.

author: Natasha Vrenglova
How to do it:
1. You color the eggs – the boiled ones with egg paint, those without contents – with acrylics or tempera. Leave them to dry. If you don’t know how to remove the insides of an egg, you do that by piercing a few small holes in the egg with a needle and then blowing the contents out through the holes.
2. With thin brush draw with the glue some diferent lines, crosses, points and etc.

Most study of ergonomics and furniture has focused around the computer workstation, particularly with the rise of carpal tunnel syndrome. Ergonomics is about doing the same amount of work as usual, but doing so in a way that's more comfortable and better for your body, putting less stress on you. For example, a progressive auto factory studied patterns of injuries at regular factories and developed ways to change either the machinery or the way people used the machinery in order to both lower employee accidents and make the employees more comfortable and less stressed.

title: THE COMPOSITION AS ABSTRACTION BY PAVEL POPOV
author: Archlibri
The book was written 10 years ago and represents a 30-year accumulation of facts and materials. It gives answers to problems that have bothered architects for centuries. It concerns both everyday and abstract topics. The, more or less, main topic of the textbook - architectural design basics – has been a subject in the schedule of the Architectural Faculty of Sofia Building University under different names since 1946. In this book Bulgarian architects will find not only the answers to their creative questions but often – their own students’ courseworks, used by the author to illustrate and support his thesis. Beside the 280 graphics in the main text, there are 700 illustrations in an additional “exercise-book”. The book illustrates half a century of work in the “History and Theory of Architecture” department.

The story of blinds starts at the edge of Nile where ancient Egyptians invented an effective weapon against the hot sun – horizontal blinds woven out of reed and dampened with water. Though the primitive Egyptian invention makes us smile condescedingly, it is the basis of today’s most popular means for protection from the sun. The blinds of today have evolved from heat and light barriers to fashion accessories.

title: How to measure and fit furniture into your home
author: comfort.bg
Comfort.bgHow to Measure
Most of us remember to make sure a piece is the right height or width to fit into the space we want, but there's more to measuring furniture than this. In fact, a common reason for customers returning furniture purchased from a showroom or online is that it doesn't fit in the room quite the way the customer thought it would. In particular, if you're looking for a large bed (especially sleigh beds, poster beds or large headboards), a sectional sofa or a large dining room set (like buffets, china cabinets or larger tables), please take a few minutes to make sure the furniture you want will fit into your home the way you want.

Finding an adequate interior solution can get even more complicated when you add to it the specific hotel standards and the tour operators’ requirements.

title: CARING FOR FURNITURE
author: http://aic.stanford.edu/
Comfort.bg
The word "furniture" tends to evoke only thoughts of wood. However, furniture may have components of every conceivable material, including metal, bone, plastic, shell, leather and fabric, as well as paints and natural and synthetic resins. All these materials must be taken into account to properly care for and maintain furniture.
The practice of caring for historic furniture has changed dramatically in the last few years. Until recently, furniture was viewed as primarily functional, and thus it was considered acceptable to repair damaged or broken furniture with whatever means were available so it could be used again. If the paint or varnish was in poor condition, it was routinely removed and replaced with new paint or varnish, or in some cases simply coated with a new layer of finish over existing layers. Today, the monetary, cultural and artistic values of historic furniture demand that the "age old" practices be reviewed.

The first edition of VKASHTI magazine, which ArchLibri just put on the market in the beginning of April, was sold immediately. The orientation towards the general public and the dynamic customer turned out to be a good niche and our information magazine with topical themes, aimed at the public at large, happened to be successful. Most of the companies, presented in the first edition, already have feedback from customers – the precise information, the big circulation and the fast uload of the products in our e-catalogue BulFurniture.com seem to work well.
The items presented in the magazine are grouped by home areas – in the living room, in the kitchen, in the bathroom, in the nursery bedroom, in the garden etc. – a small catalogue with more than 100 products with descriptions, prices and salesman addresses.

title: THE BRICKS - CATALOGUES FOR PROFESSIONALS
author: ArchLIBRI
These are the new type of catalogues of ArchLIBRI publishing house. We called them - THE BRICKS. That is what we are striving for - to make them thick as bricks, if not building bricks, then at least for facing. The thickness is important because the BRICK product catalogues show the products on the Bulgarian market, which are almost as much as everywhere. Professionals can choose when working, clients can choose when ordering, customers can choose when buying - what, who and how things are made. We know, this is the correct way and that the time has come even if we do not find understanding in the beginning. Professional culture is needed for using a systematitized, structurally classified and topical information, not asking the person next-door.

title: IMM PRESENTS THE LATEST INNOVATIONS AND TRENDS
imm Cologne - the world's leading furniture fair - presented the home furnishings and furniture trends for 2007, with a fresher approach and greater internationality. Furniture is back "in" again for the consumers - that is the conclusion after the fair. The emotional presentation by the exhibitors really put people in the mood for the theme of furnishings and furniture thus ensuring sustained and permanent business impulses in the sector. Home furnishings and furniture are further extending their importance in the consumers' list of priorities. Once again imm cologne has made a key contribution to this.
The fact that imm cologne is a global marketplace has once again been impressively confirmed by this year's event where the participating companies were more than 1,300. A total of around 115,000 visitors informed themselves about the trends and new products in the sector. This meant that despite the difficult travel and transport situation caused by hurricane Kyrill from Thursday, imm cologne matched the previous year's visitor figures while there was a slight increase in the number of visitors from Germany.
Which design possibilities are offered by light construction materials? Under which general conditions can light construction materials be produced? - and how can innovative light construction ideas be successfully marketed? These are the questions which are now particularly concerning students at the Coburg Universities of Applied Sciences and Cologne Furniture Technical College. They are participating in the interzum Future Challenge 2007 competition, which Koelnmesse is organizing within the framework of interzum 2007.

If we take the magic of the light, if we get the chimie, which generates from its contact with the materials, forms and different surfaces - then in our hands we find to hold the key to that space, which is part of ourselves, the space of harmony, comfort, spiritual and emotional relax.
"The spirit" of the interior is the light (natural or the one obtained from the designed system of artificial lighting) falling on the basic volumes' colors and surfaces, being fact of the existing architecture or constructed by the designer. title: i Saloni ARE BACK!
author: Marva Griffin Wilshir
From April 13-18, 2005, the Milan trade fair will host the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, along with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition. Once again, particular attention will be given to the Bath and Home Textiles sectors. This year marks the return of the biennial Euroluce exhibition, and as always, there is great excitement surrounding the annual SaloneSatellite. The collateral exhibition also promises to be especially fascinating.
These numbers reflect an equally important qualitative evolution: having started out as a strictly mercantile fair, the Salone has since become a veritable “pilgrimage destination”, a genuine cultural event. Exhibitors come not just to unload merchandise but also to present their vision of the future, and consequently visitors are not just buyers but also designers and architects keeping themselves up to date, along with thousands of students who find in the forms and ideas on display the shape of their personal and professional destinies.

The question is not where to eat. Tones of options. Up to your taste. The real question is meanly hidden behind the first one and just waits for a suggestion to pop up and ask slightly ironic:
And why eating (exactly) there

title: THE KITCHEN IS THE HEART OF HOME Results from international on-line design competition by Koelnmesse and Designboom
author: Information by designboom
Someone told you about a mystical triangle that needs to exist between the sink, cooktop and refrigerator? This classic triangle made sense for a long time, but today's kitchens function a lot differently than those of yesteryear. Opening increasingly into other living areas and losing their exclusively functional image, kitchens are mobilizing the minds of consumers, designers and manufacturers. For most people, the kitchen is the heart of the home, but it is also the place devoted to well-being, comfort and day-to-day safety.
Koelnmesse and designboom are looking for a design concept that links current living habits to the reality of a kitchen for the 21st century.

title: WHAT IS FENG SHUI
author: Slava McClure - professional feng shui interior and garden designer
What is Feng shui? Literally translated it means wind and water. Why wind and water? The natural forces of wind and water consist of chemical compounds. Whenever these elements meet, they reach and change form, releasing energy into the environment. The scientific definition for energy says that "The energy is a physical property possessed by an object and is a measure of the capability to make things to happen. In order for things to happen, some of the energy in the objects must be transmitted to some other objects." Wind and water is the best example of this process.

We have paid special attention to the following exhibitions: MEBEL, STROIKO 2000, and TECHNOMEBEL&EXPOLIGHT.

The market of design, ideas, contacts and, of course, furniture.
People from all over the world are coming to Milan - to show, or to visit.

Interview by ArchLIBRI
with Genoveva Hristova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry During the last year the Chamber organised trips to big world exhibitions related to the furniture sector. In connection with your work at the company, you, personally, have visited the most significant of them. Would you, please, share your impressions, by comparing those events?
The latest initiative of the Branch Chamber was the visit to INTERZUM in Cologne, which is a leading event - showing materials, details and everything related to furniture industry. I was impressed by the fact that in comparison to the previous exhibition (INTERZUM is held once in two years) there were less visitors - by 40-45 %, as reported by the organisers. There were less exhibitors, too. One saw unoccupied display areas. As a whole, the exhibiting companies were not satisfied by their participation and by the visitors' interest.
title: WHAT COMES FIRST - THE HEN OR THE EGG?
author: arch. Galina Dimitrova, Arch Libri
In the furniture branch, the answer to the dialecticians' beloved question has recently been given, and it says: THE CHICKEN. Crucial is the chicken. For ORT and their designer Ilian Milinov, the chicken has proven golden and able to grow up to the golden hen that lays golden eggs. Largely promoted by dozens of publications, that "golden chicken" is certainly the chair-table, or table-chair, which won in September 2002 the big prize World's Chair of the Year. Its acronym is ST - SeatTable. ST can only be compared to those glorious goals that Bulgarian national soccer team players marked a decade ago - the one by Kostadinov vs. France, or Lechkov's goal to Germany. ST overcame 57 products of world's furniture leaders, to be the champion. Given the strict and fair refereeship, the very fact of achieving this prize is a reason Bulgarians to be proud of another breakthrough in world economy and culture - by one of their compatriots.

On 25 January 2004 in a showroom of the furniture boutique “Marticom” was a seminar-party about ”The furniture design in a context of European culture and are there exist typical in it Bulgarian development”.
The cocktail-party was opened with short retrospective preview about growth of “Marticom” and changes in their purposes, ambitions and philosophy.
In context on European culture was presented the Dutch company “Moooi” and the Italian concern “Colombostyle”. Some projects of their famous designers (Edward van Vliet, Marcel Wonders and others) who exert influence on the development of interior design, was shown on screen. Their production is not only creative reproduction on their adjustment, but and philosophy who connected to modern attitude of the european man to world and himself.
Their innovatory projects have breaking the rules and they are a typical of a modern conception of the world of the european man who often can not find a principals in modern world.
The interesting parallel with Bulgarian reality was made in played a movie, planned and sponsored by furniture boutique “Marticom”. In the movie three Bulgarians with different occupations are looking at furnishings in shops, talking about it and try to discernable European from Bulgarian furniture.

Each collection of cabinet furniture has its own typical and authentic hardware - handles, hinges, keys, or slides.
title: AGAIN, WE'RE NOT QUITE SURE and WHO IS MARIO BOTTA At ALL
author: Sonya Atanasova, ArchLIBRI
Around the recently finalized competition for the new session hall of the National Assembly, ardent discussion have taken place in our media. They we focused on the outstanding architect Mario Botta whose project was not among winners. The reason given was the price of ˆ 11 million. The only thing that we could learn from the multitude of publications in the local press, was that Mario Botta is one of the world's most famous architects. Nothing more. In our quality of individuals tempted by architecture and design, we consider it a matter of good taste and culture to let such a colourful person like Botta appear on our pages.
Botta is born in Switzerland, and he followed there his first studies. He got his professional education in Italy – at the Art College in Milan and the University of Architecture in Venice. At present, he is a professor at the Italian Architecture University in Lugano, Switzerland. He is the holder of a long list of awards and titles from diverse academies and universities in Europe, Asia and America, but yet the funniest thing about him is that he is bearer of the Legion d'Honneur and member of the International Academy of Architecture in Bulgaria (if he would be still proud of the latter, is now hardly known).
Eight films and a great number of publications have been dedicated to him.

title: SHORT MANUAL OF THE EXPERIENCED CUSTOMER (In Support of the Hotel Business)
author: Yana Yankova
A hotel can be described in all possible ways. These ways include a novel as well. But most of all a hotel is a machine for providing shelter for the night which we expect to function irrefusingly against our money. We expect this machine to put us up for the night, to look after us, even to spoil us. On the other hand the hotel is like a stage of banal activities such as sleeping, washing, eating, having sex, hangig around…, with its own decors and back stage. The roles of the guests, hosts and “invisible” staff have been distributed beforehand. The interactions in the quiet hotel play are minimal, the dramatic turns and tragedies are unwanted and the discretion expectations are great.
